TPSN have got a cool new feature detailing the top 10 games on the PlayStation Store.

We here at TPSN, as you can probably tell, think the PlayStation Network is great and, although it had a slow start, it really came into it's own in 2008 and continues to do so. I know many people, PS3 owners, who have never bothered looking at the PlayStation Store and if they do it's for demos. Could it be that Sony are doing something wrong? Or is the world of digital distribution and downloadable games to daunting for the average consumer? I don't know, but what I do know is that they're missing out. The PlayStation Store is home to a great deal of amazing games and theres something there for everyone. With so many great titles hitting the service recently, I felt it was my duty to provide a comprehensive list of the 10 best games available on the PlayStation Store.

I'm not saying PAIN should be number 1, but it definitely belongs in the top 10...they keep releasing content for that game and more importantly, it never seems to get old.

I personally really like magic ball, Yeah, I know that you can play it on the PC but playing it on a 100" screen is so much more fun. ( heck, playing anything on a 100" screen is more fun)

3 - A to Zuma

Zuma is eating up my life.
For some reason I am unable to stop playing it. It is just so addictive...I always start and end my gaming evenings with it. Just managed to get to level 8 last night after being stuck on 6 for a few days. It is such a simple looking game, but if you look at it a little deeper there is so much strategy behind it and you have to balance that with pure twitch-reflex type play just to try and make it in time.

That game is f*cking awesome.

I have 4 of the 10 games on the list including

*SSHD
Bionic Commando
*Flower
*Wipeout HD

The ones stared are completely amazing in 1080p. I also beat BC Rearmed yesterday. Sad it had no trophies though.

The only included downloadable games, so warhawk, gt5p, socom confront (even though that game is crap), would not be included.

Oh, and I do realize while The Last Guy is really fun (and downloadable exclusive) I don't think it has enough content, or is genre breaking enough to get on the list. It is a fun game though.

Uh? those ARE downloadable games.

This is just some random dude's "top ten" and not the Bible of top ten PSN titles. Everyone has a top 10 cause there are just way too many great DLable games on PSN.

If this guy's small brain can't comprehend that PS3 is the only console that does DLable games ranging from $2.99 to $39.99 then I'll let him have sleepless nights over it.

It's not Sony's fault the other consoles can't/won't do DLable games like Wipeout HD, GTP, Warhawk, SOCOM, Siren etc.

To be honest, to say that this guy and his tiny brain coubln't comprehend that the aforementioned games were downloadable is absurd. Of course he knows they're downloadable, he writes about PS3 games all day for christ sake. I personally feel that he was right to not include the 'full release' titles like GT5 & WarHawk because people can get them anywhere, they're not donwnload only games. This is what this list focuses on. I personally applaud the guy for doing it, he's right there's a lot of people not buying games on PSN and it's a damn shame. I do believe he has responed as to why games like Noby Noby Boy and Street Fighter didn't make it in, he makes a lot of sense. Good on the lad.

That's good that they fixed it, though too bad it's a downgrade even from Socom 2. While the graphics are eons better, the gameplay of Socom 2 smashes Confrontation's.

Examples:
-Cant move during weapon select
-Cant grab onto ledges
-Reload stops if you go over a small step/rock or w/e
-more at this link..this guy and i have talked alot..and we both agree that we miss the old game.

Warhawk is by far the best game i have downloaded off PSN.

Ive logged so many hours playing that game!

Havnt been on it in a while because of all the R2 and K2 ive been playing, but always great to go back to.

I rrealllyy hope Incognito make a Warhawk 2, because that would be so amazing! All it needs is graphics tune-up to me.

do you know what really strikes me here. this article is about 'his' top ten titles and then the replies suggest other top ten titles that have not been mentioned... after reading his list and all of you fellas lists, PSN is just incredible. if you add DLC, HOME and full DVD games like Burnout, it's clear that Sony needs to advertise PSN because it's full of fantastic games
