UT3 version 2.00 now available for PS3? Titan Pack?

Talk Playstation.com writes:"It seems that an update is now available for the Playstation 3 version of Unreal Tournament 3. Load up the game and you should be prompted to download the update.

This update contains around 48 trophies, splitscreen play and a new menu. According to my source, the update weighs in at around 112MB."

The new menu design is fantastic. The game is now in version 2.0.
Hopefully they can bring in some more updates such as splitscreen online and at least a basic ranking system.

Basically here's the picture.

The patch 2.00 which adds split-screen and trophies is separate from the Titan Pack (which will be a free expansion pack available from the PS Store) they were both set to be released today. The Titan pack got delayed 2 weeks, but the patch went live in Europe and will go live in the U.S. "soon". My guess is late tonight or tomorrow.

...unless you thing Gears 2 looks "decent" as well. They use the same UE3 iteration, most of the shaders are straight rips from Gears 2 also.

i was at the forums and what they had to say is that Europe's is online because a mistranslation, it wasnt meant to be up which is why everyone is having issues. The US patch is going to be uploaded "As soon as humanly possible" and it WILL be before the titan pack on the 19th.

I can't believe they didn't post the forum thread with the warning. My PS3 froze downloading the patch and now won't move off it. I've tried everything yet even if I power down(sensibly obviously)my system the frozen dl screen reappears as soon as my PS recognises the UT3 disc(which I can't get to eject even).
System rewstore? Ring Sony? IDK but I'm mighty peeved at it, Epic and Midway too!

Mastiff (nice pic my parents have a 225lb full bloded and he looks alot like your pic) if you can try to delete your game data for UT3 it should help, however i would wait until the patch is properly released then try again.

All patches are approved before they get released, if theres a bug with the patch, it doesn't affect all systems. Atleast the patch worked well with my 60gb pal lauch Ps3. And same with my friends 40gb pal Ps3.

played the game multiple hours yesterday without any problem.

9 - No, this is not the 'Titan Pack'
It is just an software up date for Unreal 3. It adds a few features like split screen. As for the Titan Pack, it will be released March 19 and will be located in the Playstation Store under 'add-ons'.

I just recently bought Unreal 3 for 8 dollars. Even for 19.99 (current retail price) the game is still well worth the purchase. Especially if want to game without hurting your wallet.

the mods are easy to use and add infinite replayability, unfortunately i am not smart enough to make mods....did make a version of an existing level and cooked it, it worked but the change I made was to add nuke guns everywhere......lots of fun if you like dying.
