That's what makes Yahtzee, Yahtzee. But, you gotta use what got you there. Look at AVGN, his videos have gotten sorta old, but he's still funny, and still angry. Gotta keep the basics.

I happen to find his reviews hilarious and very useful. There's so many sites out there that only dwell on hyping the good points of games when they come out that they fail to properly inform you of the drawbacks. That's where Yahtzee comes in. As much as he's hated for dumping on some random fanboy's favorite game once per week, I think his point of view is required to balance out the system. He's pure venomous anti-hype.

For a laugh check out the video where he responded to outranged fanboys. It was classic.

He had some trouble finding negatives with this one. He does have a point about the all the crappy levels out there. But hey, just Google "good LPB levels" Besides, I like seeing what other people have done. Gives me new ideas for my level making.

These used to be funny but the problem for me is that whenever a good game comes along he never acknowledges it. A funny review is welcome but when you are left picking minor flaws in otherwise great games because you dare not be complementary then I lose interest fast. The music intro is awful too, it used to be a good retro song in context which I liked.

If I wanted someone to make a big deal about tiny things then I would look at the NeoGaf forums.

The way I see it is the less he has to bash or the deeper he has to search for nitpicks means it was a good game. That's why this episode wasn't as funny as some of his others.

I actually like his new intro song.
Me likes THE METAL \,,/(>.<)\,,/

But I do miss and prefer the different retro song that tied into his review. Maybe with how famous he's gettin now he doesn't want to get into trouble for not licensing each track? I dunno?

i hate how he criticizes things that are easily avoidable....its like he reviews it quickly just to say things about it...like he said he didn't want to to looking for levels that are crap, and this can easily be corrected by searching the hightest rated content *problem Solved* why is he still talking crap about the game? i don't know...

If you read the closing statement things when the review is finished he covers 'user rated' content. Generally I agree with most of his reviews, maybe not the final opinion (he's almost always negative) but the flaws he points out are pretty much spot on. Except with the controls for The World Ends With You.. they're awesome if you don't suck

This guy does say some pretty funny things, but seeing as he has a rather pessimistic angle, you'll never attain any information of worth due to his rather sensationalist style of exaggerating features he doesn't like/understand. (He even says it himself, in one of his reviews something like "I rather like this game, but seeing as you viewers only enjoy it when insult, i'm going to do just that" before he went on a rant to nit pick about game features.

That said he does say some funny things and to date his Bioshock review is my favourite where he describes the game's moral paths as being black and white: "You either save the little sisters and become friends with bunny rabbits, or harvest them and become the love-child of Hitler and Skelator, whose very urine is malice" hahaha still cracks me up today!

If you want whats wrong with the game, you can watch him and you'll get a great sense of the games flaws. Unfortunately he doesn't get any exclusive views so he's never around to confirm or deny my doubt about a game.
