All levels are regional free now. Sony confirmed it some time ago.

haha. Yea i knew it didn't look japanese but had no idea what it looked like. I thought beta was only for Japan, EU and NA

Hi all, as many of you may have heard already in an interview at Leipzig the senior producer for LittleBigPlanet announced that the game is region locked. This is in fact not the case, and all shared levels in the game will be available worldwide. The confusion arose out of regional differences in how moderation will work as there are different legal rules each region have to play by, and at one point this looked like it may require the game to be independent in each region - however this has been worked around and there will only be one region for the game.... a LittleBigRegion.

Those Beta levels aren't in the EU beta. More likely they are testing different things on each beta. I noticed in this video, this beta's level opens with a Zipper (EU's doesn't).

Different Beta Builds is more likely reason we don't see their levels.

1.11 - Regardless of the region lock,
It appears that the video is running off of a KOREAN CLIENT. What's more is that the quest dialog (i.e. "go do this and bring that cart back to the X spot, etc") is written i Korean as well.

So, while the maps may be sharable, if there is any text within a user-created map, those will obviously not be translated, which may limit the extent to which people will be able to share their maps.

But I have to say... those damn Koreans never cease to impress me. How does a country so small (compared to others) have so many talented AMATEURS? They really need to find ways to get these kids some real jobs so they can make some legit stuff on their own...

(and if anyone still has any doubt, these guys appear to have made this level as a tribute for a Korean movie; the posters shown early in the video)

Endless indeed, so many ways to play the game. Playing story mode levels will is a completely different experience between playing by yourself and playing with 4 people.

Played user-created levels with a couple guys for hours, jumping from one new level to another, granted there were a lot of rocket levels, but some people are coming up with some great ideas.

10 - My opinion on this game..
im currently in the beta and I must say that YES this is the next big thing. This game is amazing from start to well.. start seeing as how it cant finish lol. But yes, this game will move systems infact im going to go out on a limb and say that this game alone even has the potential to derail the wii a bit with hype and such innovation. I mean already people are making brilliant levels.

The graphics are brilliant, the gameplay is spot on and i find myself hooked on this game! Just the beta alone deserves a very easy 10 on a 1-10 scale. I honestly cant find anything wrong with this game whatsoever. I was sort of skeptical on this game and worried that it would be too complex for casuals but that is not the case it all.

This game will change how gaming is viewed and played and quite frankly when i go back to playing games like Warhawk, COD4 and Halo they all really pale in comparison to this game. a perfect 10 in my book

10.1 - You know you are completely right...
The Casuals can get into this with no problems even if they never create any levels...there will be hundreds if not thousands of levels created by other people. All you will have to do is logon and play a new level...just like you log onto youtube and check out new videos each day...all for free. This game will change how we play and create games....Sony will now rule the console world...

LBP will be the hottest ticket this christmas...unless wii music beats it out....

That was a really well made level. I especially loved how the designers purposely lured players on the hill with rolling goodies followed by a flaming barrel and most of them (players) fell for it lol.

I just can`t even begin to imagine all the great levels LBP is going to have after it`s out (i`m not saying the ones included from MM won`t be cool either, because i`m sure they will).

I just can`t help but smile every time i see a video of it and that is a rare thing for me to say about any game. My most anticipated game of this year, heck this gen, easily.

thats impressive

anyways best thing me and a friend and s littlebig shopkeep built was a 3 player controallable flying saucer....

:) we owned the lbp shop was videoing us and our work ill see if ican get a copy or it :) the shopkeep who was working with us as we nedded a 3rd driver for main thrusts and laterals was told to take his break he declined :) saying working with us was to much fun

oh and the final code base is like a rock was building with that :)
no glitches that wernt our fault like forgetting to attach things
