Uncharted: Drakes Fortune sales hit 1 million Worldwide

According to VG Charts Uncharted: Drakes Fortune has hit the 1million copies sold worldwide mark in just 10 weeks, Europe accounts for the majority of the sales with 550,000 copies sold, North America accounts for 400,000 copies sold and in Japan the game has shifted 50,000 copies at time of print.

Characters actually play out like a real movie you control better then any game in this genre style.

I guess you are compairing it, with how it would do on 360 then in america, despite the fact it has triple the install base of the ps3 over there.

Also yep it took me 7/8 hours to complete, but boy did it make me want to play it again straight away after. Im currently on my 3rd play through of it

What I like is xbots say PS3 owners don't buy games...no, it's that we don't buy crap games...Uncharted, CoD4, AC, Ratchet, HS...We buy games that are worth playing...Just because we don't buy every game doesn't make it bad...Some people don't like paying $60 for crap....

Uncharted, Resistance and Motorstorm (Yes, Motorstorm was a pack-in) are all first party games that sold a million, and trends show little shrinking.

Call of Duty 4, and Assassin's Creed both sold 2 million copies.

Games sell, don't worry. They don't sell at the frighteningly fast pace of some 360 titles, but they sell nonetheless.

The much larger install base of the 360 accounts for a lot of those sales. Also see my previous comment about certain sections of 360 owners regarding achievements. I didnt buy GH3 cos it aint my thang, neither is Motorstorm and Burnout wont be either.

I have to, Uncharted is welcomed right next to my other masterpieces such as Heavenly Sword , Call of Duty 4 and Warhawk...Heavenly Sword and Uncharted for the cinematic story lines and Warhawk for the best online I've played in a very long while! Call of Duty 4 fairs great (very great) on both grounds, but excels at none although the online is simply a blast!

I totally disagree with you. How is this the only PS3 game worth buying?

How about Ratchet, RockBand, CoD3, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Resistance, Oblivion, MotorStorm, Assassin's Creed (well, this one is not worth it a buy but I still own it), Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

I own all of the above (and a few crappy others) and I can tell you they are all great games that are worth buying.

I played it and beat it, it had amazing graphics. Maybe best I've ever seen on a video game.

The water and everything, just gave the game a real soaking feeling.

I know 360 fans say PS3 owners don't buy games, but they do. It's just that in North America 360 has triple the install base. So on the NPD PS3's games are in the top 10 in the charts.
