obviously. VG is the only one that attempts to track weekly; if they weren't wrong 30+% of the time, that would be awesome.

I do think a lot of people were giving MGS4 a lot of extra credit towards console sales than it's actually going to get, but I still think it did a bit better than that.

just making wild statements i see. it must hurt to see sony taking a spanking off of nintendo. but what must be worse, is seeing sony not even manage a pitiful 30k more than microsoft...and that coming of the back of the game which was supposedly gonna destroy the 360...lol just a shame there isn't a more accurate source. seeing as vgchartz pulls numbers from their arse.

now the fanboys will say killzone2 will be it's harbinger of doom, then god of war, then ff...catch my drift.

Well tool you sound like the kid that always sits on the bench laughing at the 2nd baseman for missing a ground ball. At least he is in the game. Yes the Wii is beating the PS3. But since the 360 is in 3rd place it is getting beat by the console getting beat by the Wii. How's that working out for you?

beating and outselling (i hate that word..pure fanboy) doesn't mean anything to me. i play the games and enjoy it! i dont need to feel like "my console is winning". that's why i rip the fanboys that dwell on here.

sony by rites should be spanking everyone, instead they are hardly making a dent month in month out in 7mil they are behind microsoft, and have no chance of first. second place will be sonys in 09 or early 2010, but they wont beat microsoft by multiples!

The gaming industry is doing great. Kudos to all who consider themselves gamers and that do not let their quality of sleep rely on video game console sales. At this point int he game, they are all going to be around for several years more and providing us with great games.

Shame on you 360 owners that did not buy Ninja Gaiden 2. It is quite possibly the best game on the console and the best action game ever. Its depressing to see it off the charts while another generic online centric FPS is going to sell bucket loads......what a shame.

MGS4 will have legs, It will easily be on the charts for the next few months. I cant imagine any person that is buying a PS3 within the next few months to not buy this game.

The ps3 will catch up at this rate by 2012. Just in time for ps4.
Too late....

Unless Sony start to massively outsell the MS week by week, this won't change.
