NPD: Top Selling PC Software For September 2009

"We tend to focus on console games at G4, but yes, it's true: the PC still exists! And hopefully we'll have a better idea of how the platform's performing, as the NPD Group will be releasing monthly top 20 software sales lists for the PC. The dataaren't as detailed -- for example, we have no numbers -- but it does provide a snap shot of what buying habits are for the PC. Right now? MMOs."

as far as i'm aware there haven't been any shooters released recently for pc, unless operation flashpoint has, and that game was never going to me as popular as cod etc

Operation Flashpoint uses a p2p type MP system like the new CoD is. those games dont sell well.
