Quake Live Updated to Support Linux and Mac Users

During the QuakeCon 2009 press conference, id President Todd Hollenshead announced what many non-Windows computer users had been asking about for months. Quake Live, id software's browser based shooter, would be adding support for Linux and Macintosh operating system users.

Awesome! I'm looking forward to playing this!

I was stuck in an online que for about 30mins the day this released to play, only for the second it was about to launch the game told me I couldn't play because I wasn't' on windows! was gutted.

I'll have to try this out, even though I'm not much a fan of quake style shooters.
