1.2 - Too bad its not rendered real time
The editor allows you to render scenes as a video or a screenshot. That's how you see those epic explosion videos on youtube..no one's pc can handle that. If you don't believe me, look it up lol.

EDIT: quoted from GigaPan image description "...was taken with the Crysis CE2 editor..."

1.3 - @phosphor112
What you see on youtube IT'S Real-Time, but they are a lot of screenshots collapsed @30+FPS, so its seems to be really fast, but the real things is that when you record it, the FPS are 1, maybe 2. But its real-time. xD

1.4 - Thats what I meant though
You record it, once done, the editor renders in what ever settings you have it (usually 30fps). So, while it is recorded real time, it isn't rendered at that level of quality real time.

And why did I get so many disagrees on my other post? Do people just like to disagree when they don't like what they hear?

SOE used to take these panoramic QT video shots when EQ2 was in beta. They ended up being larger in size, but not with that level of detail.

QT panoramic shots never did seem to take off, have never seen it used since then.

8 - Holy...POO!
At first I was like "Well, this is lame" because when I zoomed in it took forever to render and I thought that was how it was supposed to be.
But then I was like "OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ;.
Did anyone else notice the secret message?

I just finished rendering a 500 megapixel Crysis screenshot.

I have no idea what to do with it though, it's a 1 gigabyte JPG file and Photoshop can't open it without crashing...
