5 Feature Suggestions for Just Cause 3

Now, there hasn't been any news to indicate that Square Enix or Eidos are planning on releasing Just Cause 3 anytime soon, or even that they are working on it. If they are however, I’d like to get some suggestions in early, as I’m one of the biggest fans of this franchise, and I’ve sunk over 200 hours into JC2 alone. This month. Yea…

I agree with all except having a smaller map. Sure, it was devoid of life at parts. That's why they just need to put more stuff in it! :D

Multi-player would be phenomenal. Bullet-time would make the gunplay sweeter, also. (Think Dead Eye from the Read Dead series.)

Also, if you're going to give us a crappy story, make it campy...like Saints Row.

"Oh, and why do I have to collect a LARGE amount of in-game money to buy the upgrades I just spent real-life money for in DLC?"

WOW...someone else noticed this aswell, glad I'm not the only one. I thought the DLC would give you access to free weapons/vehicles but to pay for them all the time when you needed them especialy in a world where they are going to be destroyed A LOT.

Smaller World......no.....just no

I don't want them to see to take two steps back

As for multiplayer....I'd rather see them focus on bringing life to the world and other features then focus on muliplayer which will take up most of the development tine. Can't we just enjoy a single player game, Rockstar will be bringing multiplayer into GTAV since they've built up to it just go on to that instead.

Keep the big map... and add procedurally-generated missions and bases and such. Unlimited variety, then. (And you can have DLC to add new mission types/content to the mission generator.)

Or do what Infamous 2 did, and add a mission editor... just make sure you have a solid voting/rating system so it's easier to find good missions.

I find his comments around how Balan turned out to be very insightful as to why the game is trash. He basically apologises for its existence

solideagle12d ago

can you please give some of us who don't know anything about this, a summary of what happened?

Chocoburger12d ago

Balan was knowingly rushed out by S-E, it had an extremely short dev cycle and was fairly low budget.
Naka was the game's director until near the end when he was fired or perhaps he quit, I forgot.

carrotcakeag12d ago

@Chocoburger Yeah they did fire and replace him which caused him to unload a bunch of rants about the company. The project only existed because of Naka in the first place, he convinced Square to give him one shot at making a platformer. They gave him an opportunity but pulled the rug out before he was done for reasons not explained.

Hopefully they don’t. From this it doesn’t sound like that is the case and development is just taking too long.
