NowGamer: Ubisoft Quebec is working on a 'AAA MMO' with 'Cloud Computing' elements according to job postings.
A worker from the A Better Ubisoft initiative has told TheGamer that some developers at Ubisoft Quebec have asked not to work on Assassin’s Creed Project Red because of creative director Jonathan Dumont. Dumont was accused of harassment in 2020, allegedly verbally abusing and making sexual advances toward his colleagues, particularly women and new starters.
How come he’s still there leading a project if he got accused of all that
Ubisoft are busy putting a diversity plan in place and yet don’t address the actual problems
Why don’t they use the lead director for origins, the first one before he was replaced? Oh wait….
Women should carry pepper spray, then use it if shit bags like this harass them. I can guarantee they won't do it again. 😁
In a recent podcast with Wassup Conversations, Scott Phillips the director of many games such as Immortals Fenyx Rising, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Saints Row The Third and Saints Row 4 talks about behind the scenes of those games.
The achievements we saw from game developers, from indie to triple-A, were incredible. Here are the game developers that left an indelible mark on 2018, and pushed the art of game development forward.
I would THINK I'd be interested in this. Depends how it played I suppose. Traditional MMO wouldn't suit it at all.
Interested if this is coming to console and was designed specifically for console.
DC Universe fails because it's designed to work on both console and PC.
Yawn
AC3 please
Who cares...
I need AC3 with a new engine!
Out of the blue.
