Deus Ex: Human Revolution is hard to fault and remains thoroughly entertaining even once you've beaten it. There's a serious amount of game here with heaps of replay value and you can easily take 30-40 hours to get through it on your first play. If you were to do everything available or go for a 100% stealth play then it would last even longer and there is also already DLC on the horizon. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a tremendous achievement and a fantastic example to other games of what is possible with enough effort. Simply put this is essential gaming at its best.
GF365: "Here are our picks for the eight best sci-fi RPGs. Science fiction is a great genre for any medium of entertainment. These games are the best in the genre."
The og deus ex is magical. Im also very exited about mass effect legendary edition from the gp. Its next on my playlist never played mass effect game before.
Why aren't there more? A Star Trek RPG for one. Or something with non humanoid aliens?
I really hope Naughty Dog is doing a Sci-Fi game. As a lover all most things RPG I would love to see Naughty Dog quality in an RPG.
The Adventure games genre is insanely massive and creative, so here is the in-depth list of its Best and greatest titles to play in 2022.
Here's a list of Xbox 360/PS3 games that would be great on the Nintendo Switch (at a modest, reasonable price of course). These games could really flourish if given a new lease on life, introducing a new generation to their greatness.
I'm sure R* knows the Nintendo Switch install base and probably dont really care to port over more R* games to the Nintendo Switch tho i gotta say playing GTA4 & RDR1 on the go on the Nintendo Switch would be dope
I would buy Lollipop Chainsaw, Alice Madness Returns, Enslaved, Splatter House, Brutal Legends, Dante's Inferno, and Dead Space for sure if they were ported to the Switch.
Deus Ex Human Revolution would be a great title to The Holy Grail of All Consoles aka The Nintendo Switch*. Also Haze Remastered, Grand Theft Auto 4 and 5 Remastered, Silent Hill HD Collection, Max Payne 3 Remastered, Call of Duty World At War Remastered, The Orange Box Remastered, Halo Master Chief Collection, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 Remastered, Metal Gear Solid 4 Remastered, Afro Samurai Remastered, Demons Souls Remastered, Xmen Destiny Remastered, Jack and Daxter Collection, Def Jam Icon Remake, Folklore Remastered, Spiderman Edge of Time Remastered, Persona 5 remastered, the list goes on. (*Best Selling Console of All Time)
Seriously? Isn't it time Nintendo make a Switch successor? I mean they have the sales and money.
I can't disagree with this score and this wasn't even a game I was looking forward to playing. To be honest it took me until you first get out into the city hub to see the true genius in this game and it's just got better and better with each hour I've played after that.
It's got the interrogation system LA noire should have had. It's got stealth mechanics to rival Metal gear solid and though I'm still playing through non lethally before starting my lethal playthrough. what I've seen of the gunplay looks great and varied too. I really couldn't be more impressed with this game.
I'm sorry but the A.I alone drops the score down significantly, its just terrible. Also the 1st person gun view looks like shit. This game should have been third person option first with secondary FPS just like MGS.
this game was an impulse buy for me my wife was watching out for news on the game before release. well i didn't bother with it didn't think it would be a game i would enjoy anyways went to the store and she put 2 copies of deus ex in the cart and im hey i don't think i want this shes like your getting anyways. true story
even though i was not too happy about it at first later i found out it was a very great game and im happy she got the game for me. its been one of my favorite games this year.
This is an awesome game. I need to play this again to put the buggy mess of Dead Island out of my head. Sorry but I'm really angry with the Dead Island devs right now. I just lost time (again) because the autosave didn't work, and I just found out a bug kept me from getting a weapon mod as a quest reward. DE deserves high scores, DI does not but is amazingly getting them anyway. DE wouldn't get anything below a 9.5 from me, and DI wouldn't get anything over a 6.5. Sorry for the mini-rant but I'm mad.
To those who down played the game Deus Ex: Human Revolution because of a few bugs (mainly PC) in a 30-40 hour game. Will be squashed instantly by an augmented fly swatter. Amazing game with lesser bugs than Read Dead: Redemption. One more reason to boycott any review less than 9.0 for this game. :)
