Ace Gamez: Rune Factory: Frontier Review

Rune Factory is a classic example of a game that has bitten off more than it can chew. It tries its best to offer freeform, open-ended gameplay but only manages to provide an increased number of choices to the limited 'kill all enemies' mantra. The choices it does give aren't that exciting either. The combat is bland and uninteresting.

The farming and more social way of life is slightly better, though just can't stand up on its own. It's not all bad, the sound effects are quality and the graphics are above average. Apart from this there's nothing really good enough in this game to demand a purchase. It's possible the quiet life will suit your tastes but Ace Gamez strongly suggests considering the alternatives.

My Mom plays games even though she says she's "not a gamer" - we're all "gamers" in one way or another. Whether it's playing the lotto or fragging noobs.
