Looks like I've finally got a reason to get a Wii U. These deals are awesome.

One plus to Wii U's low sales is the fantastic sales! I'm hoping to get one around black friday with Smash at the latest. :)

AC4 Black Flag for $20 is an amazing value

Been waiting for long to purchase this game.

How is it on the wiiu? Does it lag?

randomass1713664d ago

I believe the AC games on Wii U run almost as well as their 360 counterparts. I watched my buddy play 3 and it was almost identical to the 360 version.

Steelmanner3664d ago

I just picked it up. In my opinion it is a little smoother than the 360/ps3 version, and I would say it has a bit better graphics too. The only part I don't like is that Ubisoft put no effort into making the Gamepad unique for this game. Really the only value to it is that you can have a map on it, and play the game off screen. Other than that GET IT, the game is awesome and it is at a great price.

I know AC3 had some framerate problems but I am not sure about AC4.

Metallox3664d ago

This version has many framerate issues through the whole game, specially in cities (La Habana and Kingston mainly) and during great battle ships. Still, the game seems to run 24-28 FPS the majority of time, almost the same to Assassin's Creed III, and that's playable for me.

Looking Ahead: The Lingering Questions About the Next Mario Kart

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."

I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.

nintendo needs their bangers early on

PoE: Deadfire, Unless you have a or PS5 or an SSD don't bother, loading times are insane. A minute and a half to go into a room to investigate a desk in an inn and then an additional 1 1/2 minutes to leave the room and then load to leave the inn???

And they never fixed it.
