20 years after the original game’s launch, Conrad is enlisted back to active service for the triumphant return of one of the most acclaimed franchises in gaming history. GOG is giving away Flashback as part of their Summer Sale. All you have to do to add Flashback to your collection is go to the GOG website or the game’s page.

I was so excited for the remake too... I loved the original so much. Maybe they can prove us wrong, but after the remake I don't have any real expectations for this either.

It was very much a product of it's time. Unless they have some real talent, we're going to end up with a disappointing, needless sequel.
An award-winning action-adventure game, developed by Paul Cuisset in 1992, Flashback holds a Guinness record and is one of the first games to use rotoscope technology for realistic animations. In it, you travel the universe in the year 2142 with amnesia stricken protagonist Conrad while he dives headlong into an insidious alien plot. This game will no doubt prove a time capsule of memories for some and nothing can ruin that. However, for those of you who have never played the original, Flashback Mobile offers a somewhat different experience.
This game was cutting edge on debut. I want to think I may have had this on 3DO, can’t remember. Maybe SegaCD.
