New Game Network: "With this year’s iteration of the Pro Evolution Soccer series, the developers are going all-out. However instead of trying to compete with FIFA and jump on next-generation platforms right away, the team is focusing on the current batch of consoles and instead switching out the game’s engine. PES 2014 will run on a modified FOX engine, the newly unveiled set of tools created to power most of Konami’s upcoming titles. With solid enough steps forward in the past few years, could it be time for PES to beat the competition? We had a chance to play the game at E3 and find out more from the developers on what the future will bring."
The 2013 professional soccer game will lose online play starting November 17.
A new big sale is now available on GameStop in North America, discounting the PC digital versions of several Konami published titles.
Konami has admitted that its focus on visuals for last year's PES 2014 damaged the final product, leading to a game that was only "half done" and "extremely unhappy" fan feedback.
They should of just tweaked pes 2013 awesome game and it looked better than 2014.pes2013 with next gen gfx's please
Yes pes 2013 was great, totally they should just have used 2013 as a guideline for 2014 and 2015, how can you trust konami now, same thing year after year, they say allot of fancy words and then its just worse
Can't wait. Sounds good.
Is Fifa only going next gen or both ?
I'm def grabbing Fifa...always do, but after playing PES 2012 on my 3DS a ton, I've become a fan of PES and it's embracing of customization.
It lets me create my own league experience and the kit & team creation is levels above Fifa.
Prob end up getting both...Love soccer/football
