The Cave is a genuinely charming adventure that is hindered by some compelling design choices that meant well, but ultimately needed to be thought out a little further. The characters and environments are all expertly crafted, and the designers attempt to introduce new mechanics do well to set the experience apart as unique. However, without the ability to regroup, backtracking becomes essential, and if you want to experience all of the individual scenarios, be prepared to replay the game and repeat some of the levels. The experience is certainly worth your time as players will leave The Cave having been entertained, but it also might leave you questioning $20 entry fee.
Double Fine Productions announced today that some of the developer’s mobile games on iPhone and iPad will not be updated when iOS 11 is released later this year.
As 2017 is now upon some of us, the second title in the recently announced Games With Gold January 2017 line-up is now available to download via the Microsoft Store.
misleading headlines u tools , I thought they meant KI season2 until closer reading . Of course ' the second xbox game is now showing as free ' ffs it usually is on the first of the month.
Neil writes "So here we are at the start of a new calendar year and the Xbox Games With Gold scheme is once more delivering four free titles to the masses. But following on from the awesome December 2016 offerings, January is going to have to bring us something damn great in order to top it.
Does it? Well, no. Not at all."
Because it's new to the X1, I'm holding back judgement on VH, as it could be decent.
Rayman is a solid platformer, but most excited about KI season 2, its a great fighting game revived from days gone by thats different than your standard fighting game like SF and free :)
I really love the quirky humour, but it's not my favourite from these guys...
A decent game, but flawed. Backtracking and odd co-op controls get in the way. Framerate and stuttering problems for no logical reason (such as when there's next to nothing going off on screen yet "busy" sections are silky smooth!?).
Basically, check out Trine 2, which is a far more polished pluzzle/platformer and if you've completed that then maybe give The Cave a whirl.
