To be fair, gay people have huge civil rights battles behind them, and still many large ones in front of them, just so they can take on basic civil contracts like marriage. If you want to adopt a kid in a democracy, it does matter what other people think of your way of life. People may not express their distaste of gay people directly to the gay people, but a large segment of, say, USA expresses their distaste in the voting both. So gay people who want to get married do have some awareness to spread, and some battles to fight.

Also, it's perfectly fine not to tolerate intolerance. I hope most would agree that hating black people is far less legitimate than hating racists. Even if hate is often counter-productive, hating hate is very often completely justified.

That's a little backwards.

There is one thing that you disagree with people being gay, there is another where they are treated badly. Why is that a union between a man and a women gives more rights in society than two of the same gender?

It's none of our business how people live as long as it doesn't affect others, yet we impose restrictions on them?

Point being like vickers said perfectly well, being tolerant of intolerance isn't the solution.

However, I must say Pay-to-Gay is funny!

I think it is a good move. Remember, it isn't about parading around telling people you are gay. Same reason why sometimes it seems like black people and other minorities get more attention, it is to 'raise awareness' so-to-speak, to make it seem more normal so e eryone gets along better.

I'm in support of any group, race, religion getting more exposure. Everyone is equal, some people think otherwise. Good move, I think people will buy it whether or not they are gay.

It is something that I would call common sense and understanding. We all bleed red blood, we are all human, we are ALL equal.
