IGN: Dead Island Riptide: Schrödinger’s Zombie Cat

On the one hand, the original Dead Island featured a number of positive characteristics: the freedom to explore a paradise lost, entertaining multiplayer and an appealing mix of co-op action sprinkled with light RPG elements. Of course, its crowning glory was an imaginatively wacky arsenal, the blueprints of which contained just enough goofy logic to be tantalisingly plausible.

Love zombie killing, but I won't be buying this until I see reports on how it runs because Dead Island was hands down the buggiest game I've ever played in my life.

first one ran great on pc :)

freaking looked AMAZING too, 2560x1600p, 8x aa, 60 frames per second

yes, on console, at 20-30 frames, with 880x624 or whatever diarhea resolutions they had to use to get the game to kinda run, and all those jaggies, lol...zomg...there were sooo many, more than the normal console jaggieness, i mean a metric ton.... it was an awful mess, but what do you expect with 8 year old hardware?

hopefully all these good games like this, skyrim, borderlands, far cry 3, uncharted 3, halo 4, dishonered, literally every AAA console game that are pure disasters on consoles because of all thier limitations will get "real hd" remakes

like gabe said, sony should just start all over, same with ms, just remake all these unplayably ugly, horrible performing games on new consoles aren't 8 year old paperweights with 1/2 a gig of ram and a video card that isn't fit for a cell phone

how is 720p considered acceptable to anyone, can you even buy a 720p tv anywhere besides walmart? ...they still have "ed" tv's too i imagine, those would be even better for consoles since most of them aren't even 1280x720p resolution (Black Ops 2 native resolution is now 880x720 lol.....)

i love those commercials, "black ops 2, better on xbox 360" (not really, we're lying, the pc version FUC%ING demolishes the console version, just like all games always and forever more!
