A major fan since day one, Blake from Leviathyn.com discusses the conventions the series has departed from over the years, and five steps developers can take to re-invigorate the franchise again.
Tatjana Vejnovic of the Koalition writes: After what seemed like simultaneously forever and no time at all (135 hours, 58 minutes, and 27 seconds to be exact), I have completed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, save for a couple of completionist tasks. I have completed the story, done every sidequest, and completed each of the seven total area maps. Even after all that time, it is genuinely a world I don’t want to leave. I’m not ready to put down Rebirth yet. I don’t want to leave that world yet. I’m not ready to leave Final Fantasy VII for the next three or four years.
Yuffie joins the party late in the game in FF7 Rebirth, but she's still a potential date partner for Cloud in Chapter 12 at the Gold Saucer. Worlds collide with these fantastic Palworld x Final Fantasy 7 mods that add the cutest pal along with Tifa as a playable character,
Get rid of Wada that might save Final Fantasy
#1 ^----that.
#2 Stop making gd FF13 games!
#3 I say go back to turn based battles and stop making every battle look like some super hero movie with the camera flying all over the place.
#4 Admit that Versus is a failed project and over but you're going to make 15 and it's not going to be filled with a bunch of dumb girl characters. I want dragoons, monks, ninjas, warriors, wizards, you get the idea.
#5 I hate to do it just because of how bad they'll screw it up, but remake FF games to hd or whatever and NOT screw them up.
Return to character classes or characters with unique abilities and skills. One of my issues with FF12 was that everyone could use everything.
They also need to bring back mini-games. On-rails flying segments - navigating through fireworks, dog fighting in the gunship and being able to tame and ride certain monsters - probably would have saved FF13 if nothing else were changed.
Also having NPCs who actually do something - anything - outside of a cutscene would be nice.
stop catering WRPG fans with non-turn based combat.SE also must include more mature and yet good looking protagonist as I don't want to play 5 year-old main characters. No JPOP crap would be better though
