After playing Defenders of Ardania and finding it to be a bit of a disappointment, I wasn’t exactly thrilled at the idea of picking up another Paradox game set in that same fantasy setting. The fact that Warlock: Master of the Arcane is due for release May 8th (a scant two months after Defenders) only gave me further cause for concern. After sinking several hours into our preview version of the game though, I’m glad to report that it looks like this journey into the land of Ardania will be one that genre fans can actually enjoy.
