As gaming has progressed over the years, one of the numerous trends I’ve noticed has been the surprisingly high amount of anti-hero protagonists who have popped up throughout many genres. These characters are still the heroes of their tales and while they are not villain protagonists, the thing that defines an anti-hero is that they do not always decide to take the kindest option available. Be it a predictably tragic past or experiences that have simply hardened the heart, these “heroes” all perform their share of questionable acts.

The more I think about it, the more I kinda want it to be a thing lol. Ryan Gosling would be awesome. He would need to play it less serious, but he's shown that he can be a goofball.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was never multiplat. NG Sigma 2 is a remixed game not the same game at all
Dante's inferno... such a great GoW inspired game. So sad the sequel was canned, it sounded like it was going to be even more epic than the first.
Yeap, classic GoW is still better mechanically. But the aesthetics and atmosphere of Dante's Inferno were just top-notch. Shame it never got a PC port, but at the very least is available on modern Xbox.
I just can’t get into the devil may cry series. In my opinion you never feel powerful in those games. The guns are pointless as they only serve to be a flashy part of a combo. DMC was the only one that I could tolerate long enough to beat.
I love this character! along with Samus, Snake, Claire = Jill, Jack from Madworld and Conker, Jade BGE and of course Viewtiful joe with Okami & Bayonetta + God Hand :D :D :D
