Luigi gets a year...Peach gets a month

Girl can't catch a break can she

Moonman3542d ago (Edited 3542d ago )

I can see maybe next year being something epic during August for her, what could it be this year? Super Princess Peach 2 (3DS)?

BrandanT3541d ago

Instead of her getting a "Vibe Scepter" she should get a "Love Rod."

I really would love a sequel.. game is really good platformer :)

MightyNoX3542d ago

Came to post the same thing. Well done.

Dannycr3541d ago

Samus has it worse. Nintendo NEVER acknowledge her. Her Anniversary is Aug, 6th, but now it is Peach's month *sigh*

Yea but he took time out of his life to help save the princess multiple times, and for that, after 20+ years, he finally got his own game and year.

I wonder what this means though.

ChickeyCantor3541d ago

she had a complete [new] game dedicated to her. Unlike luigi in all those years.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3541d ago

uh because Luigi was rejected for years and being overshadowed by Mario.

National Princess Peach month. Well played, Nintendo.

BiggerBoss3541d ago

I live in Georgia:)

OT: it would be cool if Nintendo announced a game centered around Peach

JohnathanACE3541d ago

Awesome! Hope they make a Peach nendoroid to celebrate like they did with the Luigi one.

TongkatAli3541d ago

To quote Peach from Smash Bros "Did I win ?" :P

rdgneoz33541d ago

If by win, you mean get 1/12 of what Luigi got... Then yes, you won...

Looking Ahead: The Lingering Questions About the Next Mario Kart

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."

I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

gold_drake6d ago

there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.

nintendo needs their bangers early on
