In a way, World of Warcraft is a diverse place, with humans, orcs, elves and gnomes fraternizing on the digital battlefield. But the creatures in the video game’s fantasy world seem to all have one thing in common: absurdly proportioned females in tight-fitting clothing.

Orcs and several other original races actually had suitably ugly female models. It is the expansion races that were a bit weird. Sexy alien goat beasts and wolf girls. And... Er.... Pandas.

As for the new models, the old revealing armours are probably still revealing. I can't imagine blizzard would bother to revisit them.

Uhm, what? The writer of this article has absolutely zero clue about this game.
This is a mmo, which means players can wear what they want. And in this case, low lvl = low armor / high lvl = more armor.

This is like complaining about all the penis tags people create in CoD, because of customization.

When a game offers skimpy / ridiculous armors for both genders, and you still get offended by it, it's something wrong with your mindset, and not the game. There are also Roleplaying servers, not everyone wants to go around RPing in a 100pound armor.

And for the record, it's an elf in the picture, not a orc. Which also proves my point of that the writer has no clue.

Sounds like Starcunning wanted to go play TES:O. That's the great thing about having a diversity of MMO's - play what makes you happy. If WoW is 'oppressing' her so much, jump ship.
