It’s not possible to talk about the recently released free to play game “Path of Exile” without mentioning its strong resemblance to “Diablo.” In fact, lets just call it like it is and say that “Path of Exile” is, for all intents and purposes, a knockoff of “Diablo.” However, I’ve never found being a knockoff a bad thing in the world of video games, so long as said knockoff follows three simple rules:
Today, in about four hours, players of Grinding Gear Games’ Path of Exile will start exploring the game’s next content update, Trial of the Ancestors.
Today Grinding Gear Games is hosting its Exilecon event, and revealed news and gameplay for Path of Exile 2 and its predecessor.
So happy we have both diablo and PoE competing against eachother. D4 is a good game, but PoE2 has really stepped it up further. Gaming is awesome these days. 😊
I hope they make a good controller support for PC now that there are lots of handheld PC on the market. PoE 1 controller support is a pain in the arse to play with.
ExileCon 2023, an event that celebrates all things Path of Exile (PoE), will be held in Auckland, New Zealand from July 29th - 30th 2023.
I would completely stop playing Diablo 2 if they added a shapeshifter. It doesn't even have to be a Druid.
