What was the biggest challenge Naughty Dog as a team had to go through?

Growing to become a multi-project company has been extremely difficult.

why is this extremely diffucult?
if you have 100 people,50 go to one project,and other 50 go to another project... and they can assist from time to time right?
bring on dlc!

When many AAA games are being made by far larger teams, I'd say splitting your fairly small team in two and keeping up to the company's quality standard would be quite difficult.

Because expanding means getting new people in, who are not familair yet with how the way the studio operates and its design philosophy. Luckily for Naughty Dog they are so well respected and known they get the pick of the litter in terms of developers. Thats how they got the art director for Bioshock/System shock series and Thief.

What Sony just needs to do is keep them happy and give them creative freedom. Let the people who want to do Uncharted do Uncharted and the people that want to do a new IP do that. Least you want to do is create a Infinity ward situation or Ubisoft with Patrice Desilets.

If you saw the Grounded documentary of the making of the last of us, they actually split after Uncharted 2! I've just gone through and checked the credits of U2 U3 and TLoU and it's really split. There are some people that can work on both and switch over but it seems that people like Neil Druckman and some of the Leads have had to step up to much bigger roles that you just cant multitask.

In good news, there are a considerable amount of considerable people in the U3 crew who are not in TLoU crew. That means that they have been working on a new title for a couple of years now. Uncharted games release every 2 years, throw on an extra year to get used to next gen hardware and we're talking 2014! New IP would 2015, two new IP's in a row? Sony seems to let them do what ever they want, I just hope it isnt a Jak game, they're capable of so much more.

Why do they have to rush the DLC to beat GTAV? I would rather them be honest about the dlc and have it made after they ship a complete game then have them hold off on something that could have shipped on the disc just so they can release something quicker. Gamers can't have it both ways. They complain about DLC being stuff that shouldve been included with the game but they also want the dlc within 1 month of release. You can't have it both ways. I say ship a complete game, then think about cool DLC. That is how it should be done so they can take their time with it. Just my 2 cents.

I would definitely buy Unkarted lol but only it is made by the same team from Naughty Dog who made CRT, will pass on it if it's made by the LBP karting or the Modnation guys.

I'm really glad they asked about making more comics I just finished the last issue and even though I knew what was going to happen because of the game I really enjoyed it. I hope they decide to make more maybe an Ish comic that would be really awesome. Naughty Dog really needs to open an online store, I wanna give them more money! I bought the Survival Edition of the game I bought all the comics I even bought the game again because I wanted to have the steel case and the regular case I want The Last of Us t shirts, posters, and anything else :P

So there is a Precursor Orb in the game or what?! Maybe (just like an Uncharted) an additional object that you do not need for the collectables trophy? I've seen the board game and the stuffed figures, but it's interesting.

And too bad they can't/don't want to do an uncut patch for Europe (without Germany) :(

Bill the fag lol. I would rather see what happens after they reach Jackson County for the second time at the end of the game. Something like Fallout 3 did when you beat the Encalve at the water purifier thats technically the end of the game but it picks up at the Citadel with the Brotherhood.

i was hoping for a question in regards to the glitched trophies in the game.

i really want to know if they are gonna get sorted any time soon. i would have a platinum trophy if it wasnt for one glitched trophy DX
