Maybe ...given that motion sensors are a big thing now, I don't see why not.

If COD can do it why not tennis?

bohangirl843944d ago

I agree and I am definitely curious to see how it is handled with the upcoming systems.

No....it's just glorified pong....especially when playing it as a video game.

It never changes....it never gets more interesting....no new and exciting things are happening.

It's just the same as it was since top spin 1.

At least with Mario tennis or fake tennis games you can get creative and introduce new mechanics...

If it's realistic...it's just pong and that doesn't hold my attention for more than a few minutes.

If the tennis games releasing every 3 years aren't selling well...I doubt releasing one yearly would change that.

I say no. I love Tennis video games, but I just don't see the point of having it yearly based.

I'm almost completely sure this type of sport would quickly fatigue itself if it did one release every year. But it's certainly financially possible considering how little actually goes on when playing Tennis.

It's not like you need to simulate a massive field or hockey rink with all those players/physics collisions, etc, and across hundreds and hundreds of different players.

The main necessary upgrade in a tennis game would be AI, courts, and ball/racquet physics.

TL;DR
Financially possible since it'd be cheap, but would fatigue very quick.

Fallout 4 is now available on next-gen consoles, but PS Plus users might be left disappointed

Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).

So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.

Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.

In that same link, they talked to further support who said PS+ owners aren’t eligible. What a load of BS! The upgrade worked just fine for FF7R. I was looking forward to this. 😞

PS5 upgrades for PS4 games on PS+ are hit and miss. The reason is usually that publisher doesn’t want to hand out free upgrades. Sometimes they offer the upgrade upfront, sometimes they are bullied into it, and sometimes they offer it later in a special edition that Sony buys for PS+. It looks here like Bethesda’s intent was to raise the profile of Fallout 4 (and sell some DLC) so I expect we will see an update for PS+ versions soon.

Bethesda themselves acknowledged that Plus users are eligible. There is just some kind of glitch and they are working to fix it.

I think a hard copy should be relatively cheap at this point.

Roughly a fiver for disc. It's also £3.99 on PSN right now for both PS4 and ps5 version.

North America sale just ended. The timing for me absolutely blows.

So if I insert my ps4 disc I should get the upgrade?

This article is funny. They tell you that $35 is a good deal for this game...We know whose side they are on.
