Anyways, excited to play both games. It'll be interesting to see both games campaigns they're both advertising connected and emotional experiences.

Be that as it may, it still looks better than COD Ghosts. They may be different games, but they cost the same ammount--and when we have great games like BF4, GTA 5, The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, Tearaway, and more great games coming out around the SAME time--most of which are the same price as a new COD ($60), then who the hell cares if their different games. For that copy of COD, I could have bought one of several games that are better, instead.

So they may be "different" to you, but to me the prices is what they have in common. And money talks this fall season. especially with so many better gaming options, money saved aside for better games and brand new released consoles, and the fact that this economy is messed up. I'd rather spend my money on a company that works hard to improve it's games--instead of selling me the same crap year after year (oh, and YES they said COD Ghosts new engine is "new", but the engine LOOKS the same--so new or not, I can't tell--as far as my eyes can tell, it might as well have been the same engine since it looks pretty crappy by next-gen standards).

NO. This is day one dlc. don't, "bring it on." make it stop.

This is seriously a practice that has gotten out of hand and is ridiculous. I love battle field just as much as anyone who loves great online multiplayer, but day one DLC continuing next gen, come on!

yeah it is free if you pre order, but the point being if a customer buys it used he'll still have to pay for it if he/she wants. Plus being theres already DLC on the first day. It's just greed and content they could've included on the disc for free

It's the same sort of deal as with Back To Karkand.

This expansion isn't shipping the same day as BF4, it'll be a few months down the road.

Like it or not, DLC is a huge part of the marketing strategy, so they plan for it in the beginning. They're not cutting content from the game or anything.

Bad Company almost had the same crap deals, but the community went into rage mode so they decided to include the content for free. That's why you got VIP map packs for free.

It makes me wonder, where was that community when they did the same with BF3?

It's almost like fanboyism and COD vs BF idiocy are a distraction so EA and Activision can slip gamers a stiff one while they argue among themselves.
Don't fall for this. Don't enjoy publishers milking you dry for content that should be free just so you can say "HEY, this game is better than yours. Wha wha wha".
