Call of Duty engine should be on this list.

You know, I undoubtedly was going to put Call of Duty on this list it seems like a no brainer(I think the majority wants that) but I said you know what? Let me be fair and put the games on here that I personally played extensively.

So ultimately I left it off 1, cause I don't play Call of Duty and 2, Even though I know from the outside looking in Call of Duty has it's issues I'm not sure if the issues are surrounded in having a subpar engine that's incapable of producing next-gen gameplay and graphics more than it's a issue with the developers themselves; a game being milked, thus releasing too quickly and therefore not producing a consistently well done gaming experience. Or even committing themselves to enough of a change where a new $60 purchase is warranted.

Whenever I see that a game has been made with the Unreal Engine (3) I make this "ugh" sound. I just can't stand the way it handles textures and lighting (the overall tech I suppose). But then again I play on console and not PC, where everything's prettier. The few exceptions are the Batman Arkham games, Gears, and probably Borderlands. I love the MT Framework engine though, despite the fact that it's starting to show it's age. Anyway, the article is a fun read. I love reading people's opinions on this sort of stuff. =)

Assassin's Creed. Characters feel so stiff and the combat is almost cinematic like a quicktime event. And, the stealth could be much better as well. I want more options to distract guards and more options for stealthy kills. Lowering my notoriety without having to pay someone off is also a must. God! that game annoys the crap outta me sometimes. What are devs thinking!?
