Kickstarter has become undoubtedly the source of funding for many games that otherwise would never have seen the light of day. In addition to maintaining full creative control of the project, also lets you check the level of expectation around the title. So it is not surprising that the Born Ready Games decided to appeal to the community to fund Strike Suit Zero, a game ready to resurrect the space battles, albeit in a purely arcade gameplay orientation.
The game puts us in the year 2299, showing an era in which humanity has expanded into space and settled. However, after the discovery of some remains alien this is divided into two factions and is at war, so we have to defend our planet. The development of the story is not particularly original, not too surprising, but manages to keep us engaged and interested at all times, raising several questions and a story that invites us to keep playing to find out what will happen next.
Everspace, Strike Suit Zero, and House of the Dying Sun are part of a welcome space sim Renaissance.
