BT: Whenever most gamers think of boss battles, they most likely imagine fun confrontations or obstacles that present some of the greatest challenges any game has to offer. As such, they often have particularly epic or energetic music to fit those kinds of situations. However, there are occasions where that general rule isn’t exactly followed. Perhaps the song is a slow piece that doesn’t seem like it would fit a battle or the style doesn’t quite match up to what would be expected, but for whatever reason, the themes don’t really sound like what’s expected. More often than not, this can make the fights and songs all the more memorable and impactful, as the stark difference sticks out in the mind.

Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.
