GameZebo: No doubt you’ve played miniature golf at some point in your life. Maybe you even experienced the game on one of those cool courses that are decorated with fiberglass dinosaurs and rusty windmill blades that squeal like tortured rabbits as they rotate forever and ever. But not even a day at Pedro’s Crazy Golf Extravaganza can prepare you for the wonders—and occasional frustration—of playing a version of golf that features traps, trampolines, and a scaly mammal.
PikiGeek: Let us observe the wily Pangolin by FeedTank in its natural habitat; rolling around giant stone mazes bouncing through the air in exotic lands at the mercy of magical platforms that appear out of thin air in an attempt to nuzzle the magic target at the end of the level. Yes, that’s a crude and simplified way to describe Pangolin, so let’s look into things a bit more thoroughly.
"As a mobile game lover, I have recently become bored of the same old regurgitated mechanics: the Temple Run-like, quick-reaction running games, or physics-based puzzle games that achieve little more than a place in the colossal shadow of Angry Birds. But my confidence in iOS games may have just returned to me, thanks to Pangolin. TouchGen: Pangolin’s name doesn’t reveal much about its theme or gameplay. Even after playing the game, I still can’t describe exactly what the game’s titular character is supposed to be (although a little internet research will tell you that a Pangolin is a scaly anteater). I do know, however; that Pangolin rolls into a little ball, and it is the player’s task to bounce Pangolin to each level’s end goal.
