Alien Lion Writes:
So VGA 10 have just ended and I feel like I deserve a fucking award for watching the stream to the end, despite having to suffer through the same fucking Jack Reacher/Dr.Pepper/Need for Speed/MMA commercial sequence over and fucking over again. What the fuck was the point of that??
While there, I will give out an award of my own to the VGA’s: the most exciting and disappointing moment of the year...
INDIE Live Expo, Japan’s premiere online digital showcase series , will debut never-before-seen games & content updates across more than 100 titles on May 25th.
"The best games of the year and the creative teams behind them were in the spotlight at the grand award ceremony of the German Computer Game Award 2024." - German Computer Game Awards.
Seven months after its infamous launch, the Van Gogh Museum is restocking its popular Pokémon collaboration items -- and selling out fast.
I hate how the celebrities said, "When I was growing up..." Don't they realize that most people watching the show, nay, most gamers are mature adults? Maybe, when I was 12 I would have enjoyed the jokes and all the cursing, but as a man with children of my own I'm glad my kids were in bed or I wouldn't have been able to watch it. It was like a GTA game. This is why gamers have bad reputations. The VGA's actually hurt gaming's image.
This is the last year I will watch this train wreck of a show. For starters who is the target audience? It seems like they are aiming for pre pubescent teens. Sam Jackson needs to get over himself. His routine got old in the first five minutes. The orchestra was entirely out of place. They tried to class it up, but it failed miserably.
Last years show was magnitudes better, but still painful.
This show has well and truly lost it's way.
This year's VGA wasnt as exciting as last years IMO in terms of game premieres. Not alot mind blowing reveals other than TPP and DS2.
