technicianonline.com: The gap between portable and console gaming experiences is smaller than ever now that the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita are on the market. With enhanced processing power, dual analog stick controls and strong support from both first and third-part developers, both the 3DS and Vita are able to stand toe-to-toe with the best the Xbox 360 and PS3 have to offer, with some games in 2012 managing to outshine their console counterparts.
From Xfire: "Steam users and the larger PC gaming community are lashing out at Capcom over a streak of sneaky DRM updates as the Japanese gaming giant continues to flirt with controversy"
Do they want more of their games to be torrented? Seems like it, I don't mind 🤣 Just ripped them a new asshole on Twitter, as I do not care what I say or post on there LOL.
This is classic Capcom. They everything they go on a hot streak and win back some consumer good will they have to turn around and burn it to the ground and have to start the whole process again.
Additional DRM just pushes people to pirate more. These ignorant executives just don't get it. Only the legitimate customer is affected by DRM. 😕
Sony is hosting its traditional conference just before the 2024 International CES in Las Vegas. Of course, PlayStation played a part in the celebrations.
damn that is aaalot of ppl
id rather have another Gravity Rush game than a movie tbh
Atlus has announced a collaboration with a well-known Japanese distillery to launch the Persona series' very own whiskey, releasing tomorrow.
I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.
Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.
I do not know why but portable gaming has always had it's place for my gaming needs. Portable gaming has shined this year because this year showed alot of 3DS and PSVita. But next year it's time for the big brothers to come out and play starting with Wii U! CANNOT WAIT!
Vita is Life
I always prefered playing portable than home consoles... even inside my house. Portables were always my first choice. Maybe because in my childhood I always played GameBoy Pocket!! God I miss those times... Plying Pokemon Blue all the time eheh :) who's with me??
The only people who think portal gaming is dead are the people who never understood it in the first place.
The year isn't over yet! Neo Geo X Gold is coming soon as well! :D
I have no problem with the 3DS, in fact I've spent probably over $400 on the thing. And it was worth the exclusives. But I can honestly say I haven't used it for more than 8-10 hours, if that.
My Vita, on the other hand... I already had a backlog of about 4 games. Then Plus hit me upside the head. There isn't enough time in the day for me to finish Assassin's Creed: Liberation, Most Wanted, Ragnarok Odyssey, Gravity Rush, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, etc.
Nintendo's 3D is cool, I'll admit that. But whenever I turn my Vita on for a game I can't help thinking "damn, this screen is so sexy! I wonder what's new on Netflix..." The thing's too damn good for me to finish it all and there are new games coming out all the time! Even the music is app is incredibly smooth and user friendly.
And this is all without even owning a PS3! The thing's gonna be here in a couple of days and then I have remote play and God of War to mess around with, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale using both Vita and PS3 as controllers, and a new back catalog of games along with all those for Vita, about 10 for 360, and the 3 games I have for my 3DS.
I will most like pick up Smash Bros. for 3DS and I love Nintendo, you won't find me bashing them. But people, stop whining, pull yourself together, save up that extra money for a 32gb card, and go get yourself a Vita asap!
Best console decision I have EVER made. (Portable or otherwise).
