We've seen this stuff happen before with jailbroken PS3's. It's probably fake..but who knows.

SnotyTheRocket4295d ago

It is fake, at the AC3 Comic-Con panel, Alex Huchinson said that the game wouldn't have a Beta..... BOOM! LAWYER'D!

Wingsfan244295d ago

According to the disagrees it seems I'm the liar here hahaha :p

First of all, once you sign onto psn your system is no longer jail broken and I'm pretty sure they banhammer you instantly before signing in. Second, this user is a paid beta tester and doesn't work in house at Ubisoft.

Wingsfan244302d ago

Ok, first of all, nowhere in your post do I see "that he is a "paid beta tester" all I see is "To my surprise, I spotted a friend." and second, you can sign into the PSN with a jailbroken PS3 http://psx-scene.com/forums...

All you have here is a screenshot of a person possibly in a beta for AC3 with no credible source. That is why I don't believe it. Plus I will take a developers word on whether or not there's a beta over yours any day bud. Is there a beta? Possibly, but I see no credible source here. AND, your entire site comments on your articles to get extra agrees and disagrees for you since I know Treezy down there also work on this site, you guys are full of it sometimes.

flavorbabies4302d ago

For everyone's benefit this article is more current with the times: http://www.redmondpie.com/s...

I'm sorry you feel that I am responsible for your disagrees but last time I checked there are less than 9 active people on our site (current # of disagrees you have). Maybe it didn't occur to you that you may be wrong. I didn't know people from my site aren't allowed to comment on articles. Didn't see that in the rules for n4g.

If it really means that much to you I can pm you the persons PSN ID so you can ask him yourself and see him playing the game, just for you!

Let's keep things on topic and not personal, please.

Sincerly,

flavorbabies

Are you sure that people can't sign in with jail broken PS3s? You don't play much PS3 do you?

bub164302d ago

read ps3news, ps3hax, psx-scene

you can sign in on jailbroke PS3s and people are NOT getting banned.

the way you lose your jailbroke PS3 by signing in is if you update to latest official firmware

Games with the dumbest NPCs

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

Every Bethesda game and Every Halo game. This list needed to have Cyberpunk somewhere.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK270d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem270d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder270d ago (Edited 270d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

Popsicle544d ago (Edited 544d ago )

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
