Rumor suggests that BioShock Infinite has been delayed so that the team can implement multiplayer. Marcus Mac Dhonnagáin ponders the options.
I really like the narrative option for multiplayer like they've done with Assassin's Creed, Max Payne, and Mass Effect. It provides that extra bit of engagement for the player and provides an illusion of keeping things fresh and meaningful.
Definitely. It also gives context to every game, which makes it all the more enjoyable to play once you understand what's going on.
Great news! Now the multiplayer can ruin the game like it did with Bioshock 2:)
How did it ruin bioshock 2? If memory serves me right, multiplayer is an option to play.
Bioshock 2 had great singleplayer. Only problem people had was that it was too similar to 1. Which also had great singleplayer... So multiplayer seemingly had no effect on the quality of the singleplayer. And the multiplayer was alright, nothing special but nice extra for those who liked it.
Maybe they can make it more like dark souls multiplayer, where you can screw with people in their single player game.
I'm more interested in the infinite possibilities for Bioshock's Single Player.
As am I, though it is interesting to speculate as to what the multiplayer mode could be like.
I'll be happy as long as it has perks, killstreaks and n00b tubes!
