i agree, i want something never before seen.

NastyLeftHook02037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

i hope when next gen comes (ps4) they can keep the price of games at 60 bucks, and not raise it at 70 dollars.

Dude, where have you been?

pluto, i was on the planet pluto.

Godmars2902037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

Dude, where have you been? Things like DLC and limited editions are looking to make games $80 and more - and game companies are only looking for ways to "get" you to buy DLC.

Edit:
But its not a planet.

quantum leap?
you will have a price that you never before paid.

I think epic wants at least a gtx 580 in consoles by 2013-2014.

DA_SHREDDER2037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

They need to produce less heat, play 3D games and moves in at least 60 fps. I want them to replace my cable box, play last gen games online still, play pc games via steam. I want to play total war on my ps4 or xbox. Good graphics, ha! I'm with with 720p as long everything runs smooth. I need it to run adroid apps store, pandora connectivity from my phone to the machine like I can with my cell.

@raytraceme. Yes, it's all I ever wanted.

raytraceme2037d ago

So basically you want your console to be a less costly pc???

GUNS N SWORDS2037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

There needs to be an epic increase despite the price tag, and i can say why. usually few buyers buy a console when its out. most of the time the populous tends to wait for games to come out anyways.

It's during that time in a console's lifespan it can be expensive. It's when games start pumping out you'll see the console's price drop.

it was the same for blu-ray, it was like $1,000 on its release, but now that its been out for so long and its got tons movies too, its now cheaper.

technology needs to be at its best for future enjoyment, and if you can't afford it, just hold on to your ps3 or 360 a little bit longer. :)

Native 1080p support, time to dump 480 and 720. Don't worry about leaving folks out, they will buy hardware to play the games on.

BrutallyBlunt2037d ago

That's all I really want, true 1080p and games running at 60hz. More ram too.

Epic should make their own console and spend billions of dollars and try and get consumers to buy it. Let's see how willing they are then about a quantum leap.

latinalover2037d ago

The rumor is the PS4 is naive 2160p

raytraceme2037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

438574829602587605643259p or no deal!!!!!!

MariaHelFutura2037d ago

The "perfect" human eye sees in 2160p. Eagles see at about 5x that, I might add.

WrAiTh Sp3cTr32037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

"naive" = irony

Edit: And I think Iggy agrees with Epic...just sayin'...

Ashira2037d ago (Edited 2037d ago )

I disagree. Start pumping out high-quality titles for less money and in less time and it will be a win-win.
Graphics is nice, but it also takes a lot of time to make and a lot of money. Plus it makes the cost of the consoles sky-high.

StanSmith2037d ago

I agree. I want the games to look better next gen but not in the way Epic wants them to be.

It's easy for Epic to make these kind of claims, but at the end of the day, it is Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo that have to cover the manufacturing costs of the hardware needed to run such games.

attilayavuzer2037d ago

So you want them to rush games, make them higher quality, AND charge less for them?

I think it's time to wake up.

cjflora2037d ago

I disagree. They can make high quality games this generation without the need for new consoles. I never get why people always claim they would prefer higher quality games over graphic in a new console. They can work on making better games on the current generation. The whole point of a new generation is to introduce something new or something that can do better than it's predecessor.

BuffMordecai2037d ago

Yeah, but if your paying for a new system, it better look new and worth the price of admission.

No. Games need to be a quantum leap in terms of gameplay, but since it didn't happen this gen don't expect it to happen next.

Jijoro2037d ago

I definately think there needs to be a quantum leap especially since this the longest console lifecycle and PC's are becoming too powerful it's not even funny.
