PSNStores: In a post today on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’s official Facebook page, it was announced that the game will indeed have downloadable level packs, with the first pack coming from the third game in the series.
Depending on the price Activision shall have my money, talking about the DLC more rather the game its self been waiting ages for this!
Surprise surprise. This makes sense, since it seems like THHD is a test to see if the franchise is still profitable. The whole idea is to reel in on nostalgia and making DLC is probably much cheaper than making more games to see if people will bite again. Oh yeah, and this is Activision.
This must be the first HD remake that has DLC huh? Let's hope they don't turn a good thing like HD remakes into something horrible. And true, HD remakes are already a bit of a cash in but tell that to the person who bought Ico on PS2 for $45 a few years ago.
Leave it Activision to find a way to turn something simple into a monetary system. These classic HD remasters are supposed to be nothing more than a simple upscale experience with some trophies. I wonder if they think of doing the same with other remasters like crash or who knows.
You know what would be funny yet sad at the same time, if they just add DLC from things that are supposed to be in the game in the first place.
You don't announce dlc before the game's even released! Put that shit in the game for chrissakes!
Oh, it's Activision. Nevermind.
why oh why is there more interest in an ancient arcade skate game than there was for EA skate. EA skate has IMO the best control system ever released for a game and what TH should have evolved into if it wasn't published by activision. instead they released 8 games with very little improvement the whole time... meanwhile EA released a mind blowing alternative and no one seemed to care.
