It’s become cliché that love and hate are the two sides of the same coin, and having started out my career in games journalism with an article on why Final Fantasy XIII was so completely awful, I’m starting to see truth in this statement. If we look past the science that says humans like to get angry, there are many reasons why our hatred for terrible, terrible games is just another form of love.
No!
Of all the stupidest of stupid statements in gaming I've ever heard this is number one!
Got nothing against a quirky game that's so bad it turns out to be good - to some - like deadly Premonition, but shove some obvious POS like Superman 64 much less FFXIII, tell me I have to spend money on it - and I'll tell you where you can shove it.
This gen has largely been sub-par, good looking titles which we've all mistakenly accepted to a degree. The last thing we need is a movement which welcomes everything else.
The mummy (PS1)
Final fantasy 2 (Ps1)
Batman begins (Ps2)
Play the game and judge the game for yourself is the best way to identify a bad game and hearing from fans rather from professional gamers.
