StarCraft 2 Matchmaking is Broken Part 4

The final part of the series explaining why the StarCraft 2 matchmaking system is broken. (PC, StarCraft II: Wings of LIberty)

I don't get the article. If you are able to hold the resources on the map, and prevent your opponent from expanding, it means you are better player, in which case it doesn't matter how you win, you can either sit there and starve them, or you probably can keep attacking their main and eventually you will also win, because you have more resources coming in faster...

The only problem with starving is that it drags the game out, otherwise its not big deal, if you think about it, it actually kind sorta gives losing opponent to get his crap together and maybe push through, instead of just constantly hitting his main and not giving him a chance to do anything at all.

This guy must be playing a alternate reality version of the game. I play this probably 2 nights a week with my mates and i have never come across anyone that sits there and resource hogs.
