The press really dropped the ball on Madness returns . They wasted time praising and giving free passes to games with a lousy gameplay , because of their nice art and emphase on storytelling (enslaved , among others) , while they nitpicked to death or ignored Alice with easily as good an artistic direction , possibly better , easily as good writing and storytelling , and actual meat and bones to its gameplay .

This is a true underrated game

It was a good enough game, I liked the art style a lot... certainly a better game than Enslaved, but I don't recall the game getting bashed or anything. Anyway, the interview could be a bit better on McGee's part. He seems like he's not interested in the interview toward the end.
