Geffroy claimed players come to Ghost Recon if they want a "smart shooter"

Haha, if he said that during the original ghost recons he'd be right. But not anymore.

explain how this game is not a "smart shooter" -_-

You see the problem Is people don't like to do research to see how far we are ahead tech wise then start calling our reality Illusions...Imagine potraying you're idea of a live conversation between people across the sea for for free and with a cooured Image 100+ years'd get the same reaction telling people their is an invisability suit..but their is and this will be used on you when you've government turns on you

This guy is living in the past. If you want a "smart" shooter go play the original Ghost Recon games.. I'm left confused as to how they can just justify the "tactical" element in these current gen Ghost Recon titles. GRAW was a run and gun arcade fest not a slow methodical planning shooter of it's predecessors and the old Rainbow Six games.

If you want a thinking man's shooter go play Battlefield or Starhawk.

Nakerman2143d ago

Out of interest, what defines a "man's shooter"?

BF3 a thinking mans shoo- HAHAHA!!!!!.... Oh wait your serious : /

Bf3's good but it requires very little intelligence to form a strategy of any kind in that game. Atleast on starhawk we can agree but none of the shooter elements in that game require any need for thinking. Its the construction of your base which requires strategy in Starhawk.
