The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is due out in cinemas later this year. Warner Bros. has now officially announced a Lego video game based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Oh shit I might actually try this lego game. I hope it has voices though... I only played the demo for lego Pirates and I was turned off by lack of voice acting and all speech bubbles. Are all of the lego games like that if anyone could answer?
Lego Star Wars didn't have any voice acting, nor chat bubbles. All of the 'dialogue' done during cutscenes was done physically. I liked it actually
Well.... physically seems better than chat bubbles I guess
that is part of they charm, having them communicate without words. It also makes it pretty funny too. None of the other games have been like that so I highly doubt they will have voices here
They don't have really voices except for the occasional grunts.
As others have said, all the LEGO games have zero voice acting. It's a very deliberate choice on the developers behalf. Watching those little LEGO buggers trying to recreated famous movie scenes with hand gestures, expressions and mayhem is awesome! :D
well the new lego batman 2 has voices, at the final the joker speaks to batman
at the final of the trailer I mean
One ring to build them all?
Excellent, been a while since I last played a Lego game but i'll get this for sure.
nice day one buy for me.
This is cool news, I love Lord Of The Rings and the Lego games have always been pretty fun. I like games that are fun for pretty much everyone.
I think I'll get this, yeah. I buy most Lord of the Rings games, even though Warner Bros and EA have let me down over the last couple of years (Conquest, War in the North). Why is it so hard to make a great LotR game this generation? I mean you have rich source material, and multiple races/classes readily available... should be a no brainer. But the Lego games are pretty cool overall, and LotR would fit well into that mold.
This is for the new lego set, not a video game! big fail from just push start! However, if there is a LotR deal with Lego, there is a chance we might see a game someday.
