A True Hardcore iPhone Game is Within Reach

BNR: Let's get one thing straight: I hate referring too certain games as hardcore- it makes them sound like they're for kids who want to be radical.
Just this once, I will for the sake of attention- for the game Republique. (iPad, iPhone, PC, République)

Looks crappy probably because Ryan Payton is working on it.

I disagree- the game looks like it's got a shot.

For me all games that tried to be hardcore on iOS failed because of the controls. Virtual joystick is always terrible, and the games that don't use it are almost always silly casual games. Let's see if this game changes this fact, if its "it'll work just fine without buttons" promise translates to "good controls".
