Mass Effect 3 N7 Bounty Weekend Starts Tomorrow, Includes PS3 Players

BioWare's latest N7 Bounty Weekend for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer mode, Operation Silencer, is the second to be available on PlayStation 3, joining Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms after the previous challenge's zero-hour decision finally brought the Sony console into the mix. The PS3 had been left out of these weekend challenges from the start for reasons that still aren't entirely clear, but that BioWare said had to do with Sony.

The new Mass Effect 3 weekend challenge runs from May 11-14, 2012, kicking off tomorrow at 6pm PST and running until Monday at 5pm PST. The Allied Goal for the weekend is to snuff out 3,000,000 of the Reaper faction's Banshees and the squad goal is to survive a Gold match on any map against any enemy with a full team extraction. No easy task, to say the least.

A separate post on the BioWare Blog also confirms that all PS3 players left out of Operations Goliath and Raptor will be receiving the Commendation packs for those, free of charge.

The story is too old to be commented.

I must say, I tried out the online portion of the game for the first time a few days ago and I really like it. They did a great job.
