No. This one looks like it's moving forward in many ways. I am really excited for this. I enjoy AC and this looks to be the best since ACII.

Kurylo3d4367d ago

I agree.. in fact i felt the first one was boring as hell, but this one looks very interesting.

WeskerChildReborned4367d ago

In all honest truth, i have never really been interested in the Assassin's Creed series but since seeing the gameplay for Assassin's Creed 3, i'm excited for it and hopefully will be buying it day 1.

Lucretia4367d ago

people are complaining that the game is actually different?

i hated all the spin offs of AC2, they all sucked, and were recycled, just felt like i played them already, AC3 is an actual move forward, cant wait for it

J86blum4367d ago

I agree. its diffrent cause its NOT ezio, but the graphics look great, the new trailer looks epic. His actions are alot smoother.

Twist the news for hits and turn something good into something bad. Like fox news on here anymore.SAD

slixshot4367d ago

Fox is just as biased as CNN, MSNBC, or any other televised media. If you want the truth, you'll have to take it from both sides and formulate it yourself.

As for this article: it's an opinion on a game that has barely any media released. Yes they're looking for hits, but they still have the right to make the article to begin with. Freedom of speech, freedom of the press.

Kurylo3d4367d ago

Yea but Fox typically not only twist the story and word it a certain way like cnn or msnbc might, but fox flat out LIES... thats what gets me about that network.. it shouldnt be legal to be able to LIE like that when you claim to be the news. Just another way to manipulate people to be angry so they join your side.

"Fox is just as biased as CNN, MSNBC, or any other televised media. If you want the truth, you'll have to take it from both sides and formulate it yourself."

Keep telling yourself that. CNN and MSNBC suck but they don't manipulate people into angry ignorant trolls.

bronxsta4367d ago (Edited 4367d ago )

Are you kidding me? I hate when people do this. We get a few tidbits of info on the story, some trailer-edited gameplay, and people think they know everything about a game and exactly how it will be.

Why don't we wait for some more trailers, some actual gameplay, more information about the story, before making snap judgements?

And remember, it's been proven in the games that George Washington and several other major historical figures of this time period were either Templars or had access to the Pieces of Eden

phantomexe4367d ago

I no it's sad isn't it....... just for hits.

ACFreak4367d ago

I disagree with the author that the game will move away from what AC originally was, but he does say that he loves the games, hopes it doesn't, that the trailer looks amazing, has nothing really negative to say about it. He even says it's down to personal opinion and pretty much speculation.

I'm an AC fan boy, but getting angry at a well-written article(probably because you just read the title) just because you disagree is what is sad.

KwietStorm_BLM4367d ago

Its not even so much the title or the aarticle itself. Its that speculation you mentioned. Its the mentality that too many gamers have this generation where they paint a picture one way or the other, BEFORE they have played the game, which ultimately (and probably unconsciously) makes them under-appreciate what the game does have to offer, rather than what it does not. I've seen it time and time again this entire phase of consoles. People love to be critics before enjoying a [potentially] good game.

Valenka4367d ago

I just had to bubble+ that comment--so true, bronxsta.

Nimblest-Assassin4367d ago

It's the sad truth about gamers and our media. truth is no one heard of the leviathan after there little Sony is going to die fiasco. I'm so annoyed at all the people complaining because you are killing redcoats in the trailer. You know how stupid that sounds? If the developer tells you that there are 3 factions the British, the Americans and the natives, then there will be 3 factions. I mean that's like watching the first gameplay of Me3 and saying the only enemy will be Cerberus. That's like watching the first gameplay of biooshock infinite and saying those are the only enemies in the game. Thats like watching the first gameplay of a fighter, and saying these will be the only characters in the game. This stupid idea of thinking we can judge a game, movie, etc just from a few minute trailer, without getting it and playing it ourselves is the dumbest thing I have ever seen gamers do. Calm down and wait. Also annoyed at the people who own pc's who think they have the right to pirate this game because of DRM protection. Yes let's make the situation worse by pirating the game, thus increasing the amount of Drm the game will have.. They put it there because people pirate in the first place, because a few people think they are entitled to the game for free

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK269d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

Rimeskeem269d ago

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

closed_account269d ago

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder269d ago (Edited 269d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

raiden_188269d ago

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

RPGer269d ago

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

Popsicle544d ago (Edited 544d ago )

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
