The official launch trailer of Max Payne 3. Platform(s): Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC Release Date: May 15th 2012 Publisher: Rockstar Games Developer: Rockstar North
Can't wait to get my hands on this game.
yeah I just hope that for the pc version there will be proper mod support. mp1 had brilliant matrix/john woo themed mods. let's hope this will happen again to this game.
Yippee, I guess. I found other trailers for the game to be more interesting. Regardless, I'm still excited to pick up the special edition.
Glad I'm not the only one that thought that. Same as you, though. I can't wait.
Looks great but I'm still not getting that MP vibe from it Shame about the music aswell.....it;s like the theme from MP2
oh no you didnt..
You just said all the wrong things...
I guess people haven't played these games recently. Cause I got a pretty good Max Payne vibe from the trailer. Take off the nostalgia glasses people. These games might not be the same as you remember.
Mother of God...
Love the music, starts out with the MP2 theme but slowly transforms into a new version.
I know. I love this theme. It just fits the noir setting.
New Version? It sounds the same as the theme from "The Fall of Max Payne" It's way too similar @Eamon "It just fits the noir setting." What Noir...there was no noir in that trailer, it's the one thing Rockstar forgot about
Yes your right, I think its been a while and I always remember the first part but never the second section. I think they put it in so that it brings something familiar across from the old games. If they had chosen new music, what do you want too bet that people would bomb their forums with "what is this new rubbish" "it's nothing like the previous game" etc...
Neo-noir (from the Greek neo, new; and the French noir, black) is a style often seen in modern motion pictures and other forms that prominently utilize elements of film noir, but with updated themes, content, style, visual elements or media that were absent in films noir of the 1940s and 1950s. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
There is plenty of noir in the game from what i've seen considering Max is just about the most cynical and self destructive he has ever been. The subject matter seems dark enough for this to be considered noir all over. Noir has nothing to do with setting, it's all about the characters troubles and Max has some extremely dark troubles to overcome.
I believe that's a part they want to leave us to find. Rockstar won't forget such a important element. Hell, nobody in their right mind would forget something like that.
why not show some actual gameplay instead of cutscenes :/
They have shown in previous videos..
I guess you missed the end where it said "This video was made entirely from in-game footage". Removing HUD elements for trailer purposes doesn't make it a cutscene. Rockstar did the same for L.A. Noire and it didn't disappoint in terms of visuals.
Holy disagrees everywhere! OT: This game is gonna rock.
omg! Give me this game now! that trailer was pretty awesome i like it. Rockstar Games are one of the best at making trailers
Fuck yeah! Cant wait
Those violins always give me goosebumps.
Oh My god. Need to get money ASAP.
can some one tell if pc version will be in 15 may or 29 may ???
29th of May, I'm going on a Max Payne black out once it releases on consoles.
I have to wait for this game for a couple weeks before I buy it :-( Unless someone wants to donate to my I NEEDZ MY MAX PAYNE FIX ORGANIZATION? I.N.M.M.P.F.O. through my PayPal Account :-)
Can't wait for the 29th, gonna be great..
Yep, it's all about the 29th. ;P
I feel like Max is gunna die...that would make me a sad panda :( if he dies, then I'm just going to assume every Rockstar character from here on out is a goner. Anyways, great trailer, can't wait for tuesday!
