Most surprising: MOVE AND SHOOT AT THE SAME TIME.
I hope that by having three campaigns it means that the game will be long. I found RE5 to be far too short, tbh.
I wouldn't expect anything more than around 2-3 hours for each campaign. The only way Capcom would know how to extend the game beyond that would be to throw in numerous awesome rock-punching quick-time events. I definitely saw this coming, though, and I am a bit interested. I bet that Leon's part will be the best and most fun to play, but shortest. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Capcom only put this in as a campaign just so they can say that they're "trying" to give fans what they want, when in reality it's probably more like they're giving us a giant middle finger for making them have to focus less attention towards the meh parts and actually make something more like Resident Evil. I did like Resident Evil 5, it's a good game, but it could have been so much better. A lot of people don't seem to want this, but I really want another game done in the style of RE 1-3 and RE Zero, but most of the newer generation of "gamers" would probably literally cry over it, so it will never be done other than maybe on a hand-held, or an HD remake. "yyy wuld u actuly mak somting gooodd?? Waaahhhh!! *sob sob*" (Trying to make them sound like how they would type, haha) =P
as much as i love RE 4, that game wasnt a proper resident evil, Resident Evil 1-3 are one of the best games in the series as they are proper survival horror. I remember in Resident Evil that just one Zombie made me panick like hell as one in Resident Evil 5 didnt made me sweat. I think RE 6 will have more action than horror, wich is sad.
capcom said the total length of the campaign will be 30hrs long
RE5 was a good co-op action game, but lacking in any survival horror tension. Resident Evil 4 is the last game in the series I truly enjoyed in that sense. Unfortunately, judging from the info in the scans above, it looks like RE6 will be all the more action-based :-(
Well Zwei is going to be shown soon so don't lose hope just yet....
"Capcom says each campaign can be completed in any order"... Depending on which one you buy first. s/
