Haunts: the Manse Macabre is an upcoming turn-based horror game with a distinct black-and-white with emphasized red graphics. Haunts, like many games, is needing some help in the financial area to finish the game and to also avoid a curse. It puts you in the role of either intruders into the Tyree Manse to find its dreaded secrets or as the monsters that haunt this place.
Time - Back in June, an unfinished video game named Haunts: The Manse Macabre by a company calling itself Mob Rules Games appeared on Kickstarter with a funding goal of $25,000. In their pitch, the designers noted they’d already spent $42,500 on the game and needed just $20,000 more to bring it home.
Development on Haunts: The Manse Macabre stalls as programmers walk away; creator promises refunds, believes game can still be made.
DHGF: Welcome back to the sixth installment of Kickstart My Heart, Diehard GameFAN’s look into the world of crowdfunding for the gaming industry. We’ll also look at what I personally have backed since last week, and ten up and coming products that you might want to back yourself.
