GG writes: It's just such a shame they didn't take this further. Prototype 1 had such a great concept; it was just a little monotonous and didn't make good enough use of those great mechanics. I really hoped that using that game as a base idea, they would have really taken the sequel to amazing new heights. Much like Assassin's Creed 1, which was really quite repetitive and simple, but evolved into this amazingly fleshed-out sequel in AC2.
But Prototype 2, while looking a lot better and really refining that free running movement, really did feel a lot like more of the same with very little expansion on the original idea.
